Chapter 2 took a lot longer to complete because in addition to completing the next 19 pages of story, I also went back and completely re-worked all 25 pages of chapter 1 (adding gray tones to the characters, fixing small spelling mistakes and re-working some of the word balloons). I think I have finally gotten the hang of this book and chapter 3 should come a lot faster. Chapter 4 is something Michael and I are looking forward to. It's what we keep calling the 'story within a story' and we will be changing up the art style to make it stand out. More to come but for now... HERO and his best friend PUDGE have begun their journey...<br />

<b>Andrew Charipar</b><br />
<br />
Andrew is a comic book creator who lives in Jacksonville, FL with his wife, children and dog Charlie. In 1992, Andrew graduated from the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in Jacksonville and then entered the work force. He spent the next 10 years taking care of his wife and children and working on comics in his spare time.<br />
<br />
In 2004, Andrew published his first graphic novel, TALES FROM THE CORNERSTONE: THE MIDNIGHT SHIFT. 2 years later, he followed it up with his second graphic novel, TALES OF THE CORNERSTONE VOLUME TWO: OVERTIME.<br />
<br />
Since then, Andrew has contributed to the SENTINELS ANTHOLOGY Volume One from Drumfish Studios (With Ryan McLelland and Rich Bernatovech) and contributed to Volume Two (coming out soon). He co-create and illustrate the first AGENTS OF C.O.L.T. graphic novel from PKD Media with Shawn Pryor and illustrated several issues of the comic series GLOB WORLD from Action Lab Entertainment. He was also a founding member of the Sketch Blog Illustrious Bits with Rich and Jamie Fay.<br />
<br />
For the last 2 years, Andrew has been working on several side projects, including an updated Cornerstone Volume One and an all-new Volume Three, several smaller projects with co-creators Avery Butterworth and Todd Wahnish, and a Project with his children entitled HERO.<br />

Ayla is the daughter of Andrew and Jennifer Charipar. She followed in her parents footsteps and graduated from the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in 2013 as a Print Making major. After being accepted to several art colleges in New York and Boston, she chose to stay closer to home for the first few years and attend the Florida State College of Jacksonville to first acquire her Associates Degree in Art Education before making the long trek up north.<br />
Ayla currently works a the Jacksonville Museum of Contemporary Art.<br />
<br />
Artistically, Ayla has contributed pin-up art to the second Cornerstone graphic novel, the comic series M.I.M.E.S. by Wayne Cordova and Harrold Jennett and to the Sketch Blog Illustrious Bits. Ayla also created a line of 'artistic print' t-shirts.<br />
Among other things, Ayla is currently working on a special project with her father and brother called HERO. Ayla will be doing color art and print art for the forth coming graphic novel.<br />

<b>Michael Charipar</b><br />

If his sister got all the Art Genes from their parents, Michael got the Brains. The oldest child of Andrew and Jennifer Charipar graduated from the Arlington Country Day School in Jacksonville, FL as the 2012 Class Salutatorian. He was also the President of his 2012 Class National Honor Society. Michael currently attends the University of North Florida and is majoring in Biology (with an emphasis on Herpetology and Entomology (bugs, lizards and snakes)).<br />
<br />
As a fan of movies, tv, manga, comics and video games, Michael has been extremely critical in his most recent project with his father and sister, suggesting plot lines and themes and helping to create many of the main characters in their graphic novel HERO. Michael is co-writing the stories with his father and sister.<br />
<br />
HERO is an original graphic novel, Co-Created and Written by Andrew, Ayla and Michael Charipar. It will be illustrated but Andrew and Ayla. The project is the first from Misfit Corner Press's Young Readers line of comics imprint MISFIT CORNER KIDS and is currently in production with a complete date by the end of 2014.
